About Shopian
Shopian (Urdu pronunciation: [ʃoːpɪjɑ̃ː]), known as Shupyan (Kashmiri pronunciation: [ʃupʲjan]) in Kashmiri, is an administrative division of the Shopian district. It is located in the southern part of the Kashmir Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, India in the disputed Kashmir region.
