History
The Town of South Palm Beach was first settled by two Finnish brothers from New York in 1948, and was officially incorporated as a municipality in 1955, with several condominiums and four single-family homes platted. Many more condominiums were constructed, contributing to the town's growth in the early 1970s. The fire station served for town meetings until 1993, when a town hall was built.
